House rules / Guest Information


Dear Guests,

We work hard to ensure that you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay with us. We do everything possible so that nothing disturbs your peace and relaxation. If, despite our efforts, you notice anything disturbing or are dissatisfied with something, please contact the host immediately.

In order to preserve the condition, order, and cleanliness of the guesthouse and its furnishings, we kindly ask you to refrain from any activity that you would not do in your own home.

Accommodation Booking

Bookings can be made through our website, Szállás.hu, Booking.com, and other booking platforms. Since intermediary booking websites cannot display the full content of our house rules, please read and follow the points below carefully.

Check-in / Check-out

Duna-Beach Apartman operates an online reception, so accommodation can be occupied on the day of arrival between 14:00 and 22:00. In case of other arrival or departure times, please contact us in advance using the provided contact details.

  • Online check-in is mandatory for all guests (including children).
  • Room key and other keys can be taken from the key safe next to the entrance.
  • The key safe code and detailed instructions will be sent by e-mail on the day of arrival.
  • On the day of departure, keys must be returned by 9:30 at the latest.
  • When finally leaving the accommodation, please place the key back in the same key safe, or if that is not possible, put it in the white mailbox next to the entrance.
  • When leaving the apartment, please close the doors and windows and switch off the room air conditioner.
  • In case of loss of keys or remote controls, guests must report it immediately and reimburse the price of the lost item and lock replacement. If not reported, the cost will be charged afterwards to the room bill.

Parking

Each room key comes with an electric gate remote.
After opening the electric gate, you may park your car in our inner courtyard parking area or in front of the property on the street side.

Payment

  • 100% advance payment is required at the time of booking, except for groups.
  • For groups, we provide a pre-agreed individual price and payment arrangement.
  • If you leave before the end of your pre-booked stay for any reason, we are unable to reduce or refund the accommodation fee.

Locking the Yard and the Building

Please always lock the gate and the building entrances when leaving during the day and for the night.

Smoking

  • Smoking is allowed only in designated areas (terrace, bacon-frying/grill area, pavilions, etc.).
  • We respectfully ask smoking guests not to throw cigarette butts around the yard or guesthouse area. Please collect them in ashtrays and dispose of them in the trash only after extinguishing them.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building.


Use of Furniture and Equipment

Please use all furnishings and equipment properly and as intended.

  • It is forbidden to remove any furnishings or equipment from the apartment/house, including towels, blankets, bed linen, armchairs, chairs, etc.
  • Furniture may only be rearranged with the owner’s permission.
  • The apartment is handed over and received upon arrival/departure; in case of damage, related costs must be reimbursed on site.
  • If the apartment is received afterwards (not in person) and something is missing or has been used improperly, the cost will be charged afterwards to the room bill.

We kindly ask you not to kill insects (flies, mosquitoes) on the walls, but to remove them with insect spray, so that no marks remain on the freshly painted white walls.

Guests take over the apartment in its viewed condition, and therefore we ask that it be handed back in the same condition when leaving. In the event of damage, the guest is obliged to compensate for it.

The accommodation provider is not responsible for material damage or accidents resulting from improper use.

  • Cauldron, stand, and kindling – provided free of charge
    Guests must clean and disinfect the cauldron and accessories after use; otherwise a 5,000 HUF cleaning fee/item will be charged.
  • Boat trip / rowing – for a fee, at a pre-arranged time
  • Bicycle rental5,000 HUF/day/unit, by prior arrangement
  • Family pedal cart (bringóhintó), max. 4 persons3,200 HUF/hour/unit, by prior arrangement
  • Children’s playroom – free (located in the basement area)
  • Fitness room – free (located in the basement area)
  • Wellness area – free (located in the basement area)
  • Table football, air hockey, billiards – free (located in the basement area)
    Please return all game accessories to their place after use.
  • Extra blanket – on request
  • Washing machine and dryer – free to use
  • Child-friendly equipment – baby bathtub, toilet reducer, children’s toys available
  • Electric car charger – extra charge, by prior arrangement
  • Air conditioning – cooling/heating/drying/fan functions, individually adjustable in every unit, free of charge
    Remote control and instructions are placed in the room. Please switch it off when not in the room to protect the environment.
  • Sports equipment in the yard – badminton set, football, frisbee (in the box next to the bicycles), free to use

Technical Problems

Please report any technical issues in the room or other areas using any of the contact options, or on the Fault Report Form left in the folder. If you write on it, please leave it on the table.

Cleaning

Apartments are handed over clean and cleaned. For stays longer than 7 nights, guests are provided with one weekly change of bed linen and towels.

Different requests can also be fulfilled for an extra charge.

  • Daily bed linen change – on request, for an extra charge (please indicate your request to the online reception)
  • General cleaning products and cleaning tools are available in all units equipped with a kitchen and in the main kitchen.

Waste Disposal

Household waste may be collected in the plastic bin in the kitchen. Cosmetic bathroom waste may be placed in the bathroom bin. Please do not throw sanitary pads, etc. into the toilet. (Trash bags are located in the kitchen cabinet.)

If the bins become full during your stay, please empty them into the large outdoor waste container next to the house. The guesthouse owner monitors and places the bins out for collection on the designated collection day.

Meals / Kitchen Use

The guesthouse has a well-equipped kitchen. Apartments 1-2-3 and 9-10, and some apartment units also have a small kitchen.

  • Cooking is possible using an electric hob. Please clean it after every use.
  • Please do not place metal items or gold/silver-coated dishes in the microwave oven.
  • Coffee and tea-making equipment is available in the kitchen.

If you would like breakfast or dinner, we can help arrange it for an extra fee in advance, via delivery from Taverna Restaurant or consumption at a local restaurant.

Please do not eat in the rooms; meals should be consumed in the kitchen, dining area, or on the terraces.

It is mandatory for everyone to clean the kitchen after themselves and return only clean dishes and cutlery. Otherwise, an additional 10,000 HUF charge will be applied.

Rooms are equipped with a kettle, coffee/tea amenities, and the appropriate number of glasses and cups.


Fire / Cauldron Cooking

Fire may only be lit in the designated fire pit area, using wood from the designated woodpile, in calm weather, and only with a bucket of extinguishing water available.

For fire safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to light a fire in the covered outdoor community area.

Various sizes of cauldrons, grill skewers, and grates are available for guests. Kindling is provided and stacked near the riverside.

After making a fire, guests are kindly asked to remove waste and extinguish embers after use.

Guests are personally financially responsible for any damages caused by fire.

Guests must collect their own waste in the yard after themselves.


Camera System

For the safety of our guests, a surveillance camera system operates in the building’s common areas, parking lot, corridor, wellness area, and exterior street-front areas.


Pets

Maximum 1 small dog per room (under 15 kg) is allowed for an extra charge. Please inform us in advance or indicate it during booking.

Please note that the owner is fully responsible for the animal and must compensate for any damage caused by it. Dog waste must be picked up immediately in the yard, green area, and parking lot.


Wellness Use

Our wellness services include: jacuzzi, infrared sauna, relaxation area.

  • Please shower before using the jacuzzi.
  • There is a control panel at the front of the jacuzzi where you can adjust the temperature and the strength of the massage jets.
  • Relaxation chairs are available for guests’ comfort.
  • The sauna reaches proper temperature about 20 minutes after switching on.
  • Please switch it off when not in use, as it does not switch off automatically.

Other Important Rules

To ensure peace and quiet for guests and neighbors:

  • Between 22:00 and 09:00, it is forbidden to make noise, be loud, play music, or listen to music loudly.

Guests are not allowed to receive visitors in the apartments or on the apartment premises.

Please comply with the rules to avoid inconveniences in this camera-monitored area.

Please note that the owner cannot accept responsibility or provide compensation for damages caused by events beyond their control (e.g. natural disaster, hail, fire, power outage, internet outage, etc.).

The owner reserves the right to refuse or immediately remove guests who behave scandalously or do not comply with the house rules. In such cases, we are unable to refund the accommodation fee.

Violation of the house rules may result in exclusion, and theft or damage to property may in all cases result in police action.

Please maintain order and cleanliness. Upon departure, please do not leave unwashed dishes or trash in the apartment/room.

To prevent condensation in the wellness area, please leave the windows open. If you close them, switch the air conditioner to drying mode.

A small first-aid kit can be found in the kitchen cabinet. In case of a serious emergency, call 112.

In case of fire, a fire extinguisher is available in the stairwell. Begin emergency response immediately and call the fire brigade at 105, then contact the accommodation provider.

The accommodation provider is not responsible for valuables left on the premises. A safe is available in every room. A key can be requested at reception for a fee.

Guests receive the apartment clean, and during their stay they are responsible for cleaning it themselves.

Household waste may be collected in the bin in the kitchen. If full, please place it in the street-side waste container. New trash bags can be found under the sink.

Parking is free of charge in the closed courtyard or in front of the apartment. Please always keep the gate entrance clear.

The owner does not live on the apartment premises but appears as needed to fully perform their duties.

The Mosoni-Danube River flows directly at the edge of the property and is a natural watercourse. Please note that everyone uses the river at their own risk for swimming, bathing, boating, SUP, and other sports activities. The owner bears no responsibility for accidents or damage resulting from use of the river.

Please indicate requests for family pedal cart, SUP, boat, sightseeing boat trip, or fishing daily by 9:00 AM.
